Soffid, sponsor of the 2026 ASLAN Awards for Digital Transformation in Public Administration
On 18 March, we had the privilege of participating as sponsors of the 18th edition of the ASLAN Awards for Digital Transformation in Public Administration. The gala took place at the Olivar de la Hinojosa in Madrid, as part of the ASLAN 2026 Congress & EXPO, and brought together representatives from institutions and the technology sector for an evening dedicated to recognising the best in public innovation in Spain.
For Soffid, attending was not an option: as partners of ASLAN, we share the conviction that has driven these awards for the past 18 editions. Digital transformation in public administrations does not happen on its own — it happens when public bodies and technology companies work together with clear objectives. Recognising that effort is essential, and ASLAN does it better than anyone.
An evening of well-deserved recognition
This year’s edition received 84 entries submitted by 62 public administrations and bodies, of which fourteen initiatives were awarded prizes. The winning projects range from artificial intelligence applied to public services to automation, digital infrastructure, healthcare and 5G connectivity — a true reflection of how far digital transformation has come in the Spanish public sector.
Our CEO, Josep Lluís Vidal, had the honour of presenting the award in the digital infrastructure category, recognising the virtual workstation project for 80,000 National Police officers. A project which, due to its scale and complexity, represents exactly the kind of initiative these awards deserve to highlight.

Eighteen editions. Over 150 participating public bodies. More than 220 technology partners supporting the initiative. These figures are not mere statistics: they are a measure of a community that believes technology serving the public deserves explicit and sustained recognition.
