Regulations exist and the requirements are clear. Even so, meeting them remains a long-distance race for IT teams. How to close that gap with artificial intelligence was the question Soffid brought to the Aslan Technology Forum in Barcelona. Here is what we presented.
On September 30, Soffid took part in the 2026 Aslan Association Technology Tour, held under the motto “AI Agents, Resilience, Digital Sovereignty…? We Evolve.”
Gabriel Buades, Founder and CTO of Soffid, delivered the talk “Digital Identity, Technological Sovereignty, and the Role of AI in Making It Possible.”
The event, held on September 29 and 30 at the Hotel Majestic in Barcelona, was the first stop of the 20th Aslan Association Technology Tour.
IT manufacturers, partners, and IT managers came together to discuss AI agents, automation, data governance, cybersecurity, cyber resilience, multicloud, and critical infrastructure.
Gabriel Buades took part in the forum’s second day with a clear idea: the gap between regulation and its real-world application is not a matter of willingness, but of complexity that is technical, legal, and operational all at once. That complexity carries a real cost: audits that drag on, non-conformities that pile up, and IT teams that cannot move as fast as the business demands.
In response, he presented how Soffid 4 uses artificial intelligence as a mechanism to close that gap. Through natural language, it is possible to define, implement, and monitor identity security policies autonomously, with 99% accuracy on simple actions and a 40% to 50% reduction in deployment time.
For Soffid, taking part in the forum was an opportunity to talk with industry professionals about digital identity, technological sovereignty, and the role of AI. This reflects how we work: making the complex simple, so that regulatory compliance becomes a foundation for operating with control rather than an obstacle.
