Tired of identity management headaches?
What if identity were the true perimeter, and every point of access a risk to be managed? The regulatory framework sets the direction, but translating governance into the operational reality of each organisation remains the challenge. This was the discussion that Soffid took part in at the 20th edition of ENISE, in León, alongside our partners Satec and Seresco. Here’s what we experienced.
From 21 to 23 October, we took part in the 20th edition of ENISE, INCIBE’s International Information Security Conference, alongside two of our technology partners.
The 20th edition of ENISE took place on 21, 22 and 23 October 2026 at the León Conference and Exhibition Centre and its surrounding area, and is the sector’s leading event in Spain.
The event features an exhibition area with companies and sponsors, an international zone with pavilions and delegations, a main auditorium, and spaces dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship and networking. Professionals, manufacturers, partners and security managers come together over three days to share experiences and discuss the present and future of cybersecurity.
At this year’s event, we were joined by two of our partners: SATEC and Seresco. From both companies’ stands, our team spoke to attendees who came to find out how digital identity and access control are integrated into security projects. 
For us, this collaborative model is an essential part of how we work: reaching out to organisations through partners who have an in-depth understanding of their environment, challenges and priorities.
Discussions at Soffid centred on a single theme: digital identity and secure access. When systems are distributed across the cloud, on-premises environments and third-party services, the perimeter is no longer the network but becomes identity. And every instance of access – whether granted or not reviewed in a timely manner – is a potential risk.
The debate centred on how to translate governance into the operational reality of each organisation: how to move from criteria and policies defined on paper to the day-to-day management of identities, permissions and access that can be implemented, audited and maintained over time. This is a challenge that affects IT teams, security managers and organisations required to demonstrate compliance in equal measure.
Being in León allowed us to see first-hand how organisations tackle the issue of controlling who accesses what, and to confirm that the gap between defining a policy and applying it on a day-to-day basis remains the sector’s greatest challenge. At Soffid, we bridge that gap: with clear, automated and auditable identity management that provides security without hindering operations.
