Soffid IAM at the STIC CCN-CERT 2025 Conference: Everything you need to know

From 25 to 27 November, Madrid will host the 19th STIC CCN-CERT Conference, Spain’s largest cybersecurity event, where Soffid IAM will have a prominent presence as a sponsor of the Coffee Corners, networking spaces that will serve as a meeting point and forum for the exchange of ideas among professionals in the sector.

 

This nineteenth edition of the STIC CCN-CERT Conference, sponsored by the National Cryptology Centre (CCN), will be marked by collaboration between the most relevant institutions in cyber defence, from the public sector as well as the private, academic and cyber communities. Under the slogan ‘A digital shield for an interconnected Spain’, the latest research, technologies and policies aimed at strengthening the security of the national cyberspace will be presented.

 

Historic conferences for Information and Communication Technology Security

The CCN-CERT is the service for the Information Security Incident Response Capacity (Computer Emergency Response Team, CERT) developed by the CCN, an agency under the National Intelligence Centre (CNI). Its mission is to improve cybersecurity in Spain and, with this objective in mind, it has been organising the STIC CCN-CERT Conference for almost two decades.

In recent years, another major event in the sector has been added to the CCN-CERT STIC Conference: the ESPDER-CERT Cyber Defence Conference, organised by the Ministry of Defence’s Cyber Incident Response Centre. 

In addition, this year’s STIC CCN-CERT Conference will be preceded by the RootedCON Congress, which will be held on 24 November and will focus on practical training sessions on threat response and technological innovations for professionals, technicians and specialists in the sector.

During those days, the country’s three major cybersecurity events will coincide. The last edition attracted more than 8,400 attendees in person and 6,900 online, from some twenty countries.

 

The 19th STIC CCN-CERT Conference | 7th ESPEDEF-CERT Cyber Defence Conference | RooteCON Congress will be held between 24 and 27 November 2025, with the STIC CCN-CERT Conference taking place from 25 to 27 November at the Kinépolis Ciudad de la Imagen cinema in Madrid.

 

The STIC CCN-CERT Conference programme will feature presentations, workshops and round tables dedicated to key topics such as:

• Defence strategies against cyberattacks
• Protection of critical infrastructure and assets
• Innovation in the development of cybersecurity technologies
• Incident management
• Regulatory and legislative framework at national and European level
